Shocking nobody, Republicans’ relentless attempts to undermine democracy and instill mistrust in voting systems has had a devastating impact on Republicans voter turnout.
It seems that voters don’t want to participate in a system they’ve been told is corrupt.
Casting doubt on the legitimacy of elections might have been an effective tool for galvanizing followers of an insurrection. But clearly, it has not delivered the ultimate result Republicans are looking for, which is to actually win elections.
It’s clear that Republicans’ only path to victory now is by cheating.
It has never been more important that we defend voting rights and protect every single election, because Republicans will try harder than ever before to undermine every single election.
