In 2019, New Hampshire Democrats worked hard to bring liberal, Washington DC style politics and policies to the Granite State, but we fought back - and we won.

Last year, I vetoed 57 bills sent to my desk by Democrats in the Legislature - everything from an income tax to restrictions on our first and second amendment rights. I didn't intend to set a veto record, but the Democrats passed so many extreme bills that I was left with no choice.

We can take pride in our many accomplishments in 2019. Here's just a few:
* Delivered a fiscally responsible state budget
* Signed meaningful legislation into law to prevent youth suicide
* Returned millions to cities and towns for municipal infrastructure projects and education aid
* Invested millions to combat the opioid crisis
* Continued to champion a voluntary paid family medical leave program that's not an income tax

We will keep the well-being of New Hampshire families at the heart of all that we do. As we head into this election year though, I'm going to need your help more than ever before. Will you pitch in today? ([link removed])
