In 2019, New Hampshire Democrats worked hard to bring liberal, Washington DC style politics and policies to the Granite State, but we fought back - and we won.

Last year, I vetoed 57 bills sent to my desk by Democrats in the Legislature - everything from an income tax to restrictions on our first and second amendment rights. I didn't intend to set a veto record, but the Democrats passed so many extreme bills that I was left with no choice. 

• Delivered a fiscally responsible state budget
• Signed meaningful legislation into law to prevent youth suicide
• Returned millions to cities and towns for municipal infrastructure projects and education aid
• Invested millions to combat the opioid crisis
• Continued to champion a voluntary paid family medical leave program that's not an income tax
