Now that Election Day has passed, we are reaching out with some helpful tips for filing your Post-General Report.

1. When setting up your 30-G (Post-General) Report your aggregate reporting cycle should start on 11/4/2020 and end on 11/28/2022 (end period of the 30-G) or 11/5/2024 if you want to use the entire 2024 cycle dates.

2. To calculate the Column B value in your current report, add the value of Column B from your last report and the value of Column A from your current report together, THEN subtract the value of Column C from your current report.

3. When the Type of Report is set as Post Election, NGP will automatically set up a three-column report crossing two cycles. You do NOT need to check the Cross Cycle Override box.

4. If you are filing your Post-General as a Termination Report, you WILL want to set the Type of Report as Termination and you will check the Cross-Cycle Override box.

Lastly, 2024 will be here before we know it. Get ahead by setting up your 2024 cycle now!
