** Volunteers Needed for the
2020 Point In Time (PIT) Count
------------------------------------------------------------
On January 28th from 6PM- 10PM Anchorage will be conducting the annual Point In Time (PIT) Count to count sheltered and unsheltered individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with the PIT Count. Volunteers will be in groups of 5 - 10 assigned to a certain area of town and will be paired with an experienced team lead. This is an outdoor event that will require volunteers to be able to stay outside for a few hours, be able to walk some distance and to interact with individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers are required to attend one of the two training sessions before the event to be able to participate. Training sessions will be held on the following dates:

** ACEH is seeking a Transition Coordinator
------------------------------------------------------------
Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness Transition Coordinators (TC) support the daily operation of the Anchorage Coordinated Entry System (CES). The Anchorage CES seeks to streamline services within the Homeless Response System for both those accessing and those providing services. The current vacant position is an administrative role that supports both internal functioning and external agency partnerships. This position is assigned to standardize, document, and monitor ongoing CES processes. Additionally, this position is responsible for using data to monitor CES health and to implement solutions to improve core functions of the CES. This position entails analytical thinking and the ability to build and maintain relationships across various agencies and providers.
