Volunteers Needed for the
2020 Point In Time (PIT) Count
On January 28th from 6PM- 10PM Anchorage will be conducting the annual Point In Time (PIT) Count to count sheltered and unsheltered individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with the PIT Count. Volunteers will be in groups of 5 - 10 assigned to a certain area of town and will be paired with an experienced team lead. This is an outdoor event that will require volunteers to be able to stay outside for a few hours, be able to walk some distance and to interact with individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers are required to attend one of the two training sessions before the event to be able to participate. Training sessions will be held on the following dates:
