Last week, pro-democracy campaigns across the country celebrated important
wins.

From John Fetterman in Pennsylvania to Delia Ramirez in Chicago, Summer
Lee in Pittsburgh to Elissa Slotkin in Michigan, pro-Israel, pro-peace,
pro-democracy candidates secured victory after victory.

We’re proud of J Street’s role in fueling their success and bringing so
many new, principled voices to Congress who share our values.

We’ll be celebrating with many of the candidates, strategists and advocacy
groups who helped make last week a success at our National Conference this

We’ll also be joined by Israeli and Palestinian allies and advocates for
democracy and human rights, who are leading the fight for freedom,
equality and self-determination for both peoples.

It’s a struggle that’s more important than ever with Netanyahu’s expected
return to power in a new far-right government -- in a moment when
annexation could well be back on the table and settlement expansion,
demolitions and settler violence threaten not only Palestinian freedoms,
but Israel’s own democratic future.

While the election results this past Tuesday were better than many of us
anticipated, this was only the latest round in the larger battle for
democracy in the US, Israel and around the world.

Together, we must rally all our strength to push our elected leaders to
promote peace, justice and human rights -- and to stand up to those who
threaten them.

J Street’s National Conference is where we showcase the energy, commitment
and hope that fuels our movement. It’s where we come together to
strategize and organize for future fights, campaigns and victories.
