The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) seeks comments on an informal working draft of a rule implementing Insurance Code Section 551.1053, as enacted by Senate Bill 1602, 87th Legislature, 2021, which requires insurance companies to nonrenew private passenger automobile policies if an insured fails or refuses to cooperate.
