The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) seeks comments on an informal working draft of a rule implementing Insurance Code Section 551.1053, as enacted by Senate Bill 1602, 87^th Legislature, 2021, which requires insurance companies to nonrenew private passenger automobile policies if an insured fails or refuses to cooperate.
