This week in MoCo DSA
MoCo DSA members:

Happy new year! We hope you had joyous and restful holidays.

In 2020, we look forward to continuing to build community, to speak truth to power, and to demand that Montgomery County take real, proactive steps to make this a county for the many, not the few.

Please join us at our first branch meeting of 2020 this Sunday ([link removed]) at the Bethesda library, where we'll not only discuss plans for the upcoming year, but we'll also have an "art build" - we'll be making posters for next week's protest! Speaking of....

We also plan to continue to demand the end of manufactured austerity and class warfare, one example of which is the unconscionable tax breaks that private country clubs in Maryland receive. Legislation to end these tax breaks failed to pass last year, but we are going to put much more pressure on legislators and country clubs during the upcoming state legislative session. Join us for the first of several protests next Wednesday, January 8 - more details are below!
