Major fossil fuel companies, from ExxonMobil to Chevron, are making more
money than ever, and they’re doing it by taking advantage of consumers at
the pump.

Exxon reported its highest-ever quarterly profit ($19.7 billion), and
Chevron reported its second-highest quarterly profit ever (11.2 billion).

While President Biden previously criticized oil and gas companies’ massive
profits earlier this year, his administration has been reluctant to
endorse the single best action to hold Big Oil accountable – a windfall
profits tax on excess profits.

After pressure from DFA members around the nation, Biden is ready to crack
down on Big Oil price gouging.

Make no mistake about it; this was made possible because of you. With
corporate greed driving inflation to its highest levels in decades, DFA
members have pushed hard to ensure President Biden addresses corporate
price gouging.
