Sacramento DSA is hosting its first ever local chapter convention to deliberate, debate, and ultimately democratically decide the direction the chapter will go for the next year of organizing. Time/location are TBD.
** Beer and Roses Leftist Happy Hour

Come hang out with other local socialists to drink beer, eat fries, and talk about politics, activism, local issues, and bad bosses. Drop in whenever, and have some fun with your comrades!

Join the local convention working group for a brief presentation about the convention resolution submission format, including time for questions. Stick around to collaborate with comrades or work on your resolution(s) in a supportive environment. Resolutions will be how political priorities are decided on at the convention, so this is a good starting place if you have ideas for the direction of the chapter’s work.

Join our Socialist Feminist Committee meeting to contribute to our on-going work and discussion on how to build a more safe, just and healthy community for womxn, LGBTQ+ people and all. If you want to abolish the patriarchy, then this is the place for you!
The Socialist Feminist Committee is excited to have the Sacramento Sex Worker Outreach Project come to our January 14th meeting. We will be listening to them speak about grassroots advocacy efforts to support sex workers in our community, and how we can show solidarity to their important work.
