* Jayme will be responsive to the needs of ALL municipalities in the district.

* CT is 50th in the nation, dead LAST, in federal funds coming back to our state.

* *CT pays the second highest in federal taxes and taxpayers.* Himes has done nothing to restore state and local tax deductions.
* Jayme will work collaboratively with ALL local and state leaders and focus on the strategic needs of our 17 municipalities.

* Every student deserves access to quality education in a safe learning environment.

* Himes *voted against "Protecting Our Children Act"* with SROs and mental health counselors funded by remaining COVID dollars.
* Jayme has heard the pleas from parents, teachers, and superintendents and will ensure that children are protected and have access to support.

* Parents are the primary caregivers for their children and have ultimate responsibility for them.

* Jayme’s opponent *voted against an amendment to inform parents* when children receive any mental health, crisis, or other wellness services from their school.
