This is it. The final fundraising email that you will receive from MoveOn
for this all-important midterm election.
After this email goes out, MoveOn will lock in their final budget
decisions for the closing days of the campaign.
Donations that come in today will allow MoveOn to expand their final
digital ad buys reminding young people to vote, beef up their
precinct-level Election Day turnout operation, and organize one last round
of get-out-the-vote rallies in key battleground states like Pennsylvania,
Georgia, and Nevada.
However, money that comes in after today will simply be too late to be
spent effectively on this election.
My friends, I've been involved in politics for more than 50 years. I can
honestly say that I've never seen an election like this, where the
survival of democracy itself is on the line.

The last 72 hours before an election are the most important hours of any
campaign, because that's when millions of voters decide whether to vote at
all and undecided voters finally make up their minds on which candidate to
vote for.
My friends at MoveOn have spent years testing and perfecting the most
effective tactics for mobilizing and persuading voters in these final
critical hours.
I've seen them in action firsthand, and I can tell you that no one does it
better.
Imagine you're a busy 20-year-old. You voted against Trump in 2020, but
you're not sure it's worth rushing out of work in time to vote this time.
Then you get a text message from a friend who bumped into a MoveOn
volunteer at the polls, and they ask if you've voted yet. You promise your
friend that you will, and after work, you make a point of going to vote
because you promised you would.
Bingo. Another vote against the MAGA Republican takeover.
That's how Election Day GOTV works. It's not glamorous, and it takes a
massive army of volunteers recruited by MoveOn's team of precinct
organizers. But it's incredibly effective, and it's how MoveOn helped
challenge the all-time record for youth voter turnout in 2020.

MoveOn to beef up its operation to cover more precincts and add extra
