President Obama, a man I’ve worked with and respect deeply, is not pulling any punches. And John, he’s absolutely correct.

When the GOP morphed into the MAGA party, this became their whole shtick: making stuff up. It’s how they’ve managed to convince themselves to worship Donald Trump, and it’s how they’re trying to convince Americans to vote Republican.

They want you to forget that they took away your reproductive rights.
So they make stuff up.

They want you to forget that they voted against reducing inflation, lowering prices, and holding price-gouging corporations accountable.
So they make stuff up.

They want you to forget that they’ve jumped to the defense of rioters, looters, and insurrectionists who spent hours physically beating the U.S. Capitol Police senseless — all while claiming to support law enforcement.
So they make stuff up.

As President Obama said here in Georgia, Republicans are “obsessed with two things: owning the libs, and Donald Trump’s approval.”

The Republican Party no longer has any moral grounding, and they spit out anyone who tries to stand up for what’s right. So as we enter the final phase of our voter outreach and get-out-the-vote effort, I’m asking you to help me counter the GOP’s lies and remind voters who Republicans truly are.
