Indeed, 2019 was a banner year for the Institute. We saw more people engage with PRI research than ever before, thanks to an aggressive program of media appearances, policy papers, and op-eds – in addition to hosting numerous speakers across the state, putting on policy conferences, and releasing a weekly podcast featuring interviews with policymakers and free market scholars.

With a critical election year ahead, though, this is not the time for complacency. It is far from assured that freedom, opportunity, and personal responsibility will be more secure at the end of 2020 than they are today.
