I’m heading to COP27 to push leaders to act – will you join me in taking action?

I’ve seen climate injustice firsthand — I won’t let leaders look away.

Global Citizen,

Throughout my life, I’ve had a front row seat to the climate crisis.

I’ve watched my family’s farm get destroyed by devastating floods. I’ve been
forced to flee from catastrophic storms, andI’ve seen entire communities
ravaged by drought. In my country of Uganda, climate change has become an
inescapable reality.

Sadly, we’re not alone. All throughout the Global South, climate disasters
have become more frequent and severe. The communities who’ve contributed the
least to climate change are now on the front lines of its impacts. This is what
climate injustice looks like, and it needs to end.

In recent years, countries of the Global South have called on the governments
most responsible for climate change tocompensate communities

ravaged by its effects. But rich countries are refusing to listen.

We can’t let this continue. No family should be left alone to suffer the
injustice of losing their home to a crisis they did nothing to cause.

I’m heading to COP27 to seek justice for my family. Will you speak out with me?

LET'S TAKE ACTION →
<[link removed]>

This week, I’ll be travelling to Egypt for the UN Climate Summit. I’m
determined to raise my voice to demand Global North countries responsible for
the climate crisis to set up aLoss and Damage Fund

. This will provide urgent relief to countries on the frontlines of climate
disaster and support for families like my own.

I'm confident we can make a difference if we raise our voices like never
before. Join me in taking action for climate justice
