Earlier today, the Census Bureau released a prerecorded presentation [ [link removed] ] explaining how we are preparing for the 2030 Census. To help us develop the initial plan for conducting the next census, we're asking for public input and have dozens of research projects underway.

2030 Census Enhancement Areas [ [link removed] ]
To develop the operational design, we will factor in past census experiences, your feedback, and new research. We will also consider evolving technologies and the changing world around us.
We are focused on five areas of research to help us build our operational design: data collection, group quarters enumeration, integrating data collection and processing in real time, streamlining operational infrastructure, and continuous data collection and aggregation.
