** 2022 Leckey Forum: Registration Open!

Please join the AHS on Wednesday, November 2nd for the 2022 Leckey Forum featuring Jenny Schuetz, author of Fixer-Upper: How to Repair America's Broken Housing Systems. ([link removed])

** Updates on the Missing Middle Housing Study
------------------------------------------------------------
On October 17, the County Planning Staff shared the latest developments on the Missing Middle Housing Study.

AHS is pleased to see MM housing types up to 8-plexes remain under consideration. AHS opposes an annual cap that would limit the development of MM housing. AHS expects a draft of the General Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance language in early November with the MM housing Framework and zoning language to go before the County Board in December or January.

** Community Input Needed on Langston Boulevard Preliminary Concept Plan

In case you missed it, Arlington County has shared the Preliminary Concept Plan ([link removed]) (PCP) for the Langston Boulevard corridor. Affordable housing advocates can:
* Provide your input via a community ([link removed]) feedback form ([link removed]) ([link removed]) to help refine the planning ideas proposed in the PCP (Please note the form closes on November 11)
* Check out the Plan Langston Boulevard website ([link removed]) for design studio and pop-up opportunities, plus past meeting recordings
* Express concern that the PCP falls short by 850 units of affordable housing promised for the Langston Boulevard corridor in the County's 2015 Affordable Housing Master Plan
