With fall in full swing as October draws to a close, we hope everyone has been enjoying the colors and staying warm. Here are some important events coming up:

Chapter Meeting - this Sunday, 2PM

New Members Welcome! Our next business meeting will take place Sunday, October 30th at 2pm at Santa Fe Mutu ([link removed]) al Aid ([link removed]) . We will update on recent events and chapter developments, and we want to hear from you about what you think SFDSA can focus on next. We look forward to seeing you there. Happy Hour at the Brakeroom - this Thursday, 5PM

Join your fellow comrades for some fun, enlightening conversation and libations at The Brakeroom ([link removed]) this Thursday, October 24 starting at 5pm!

Reading Group - Saturdays, 10AM-11AM

The Decolonization reading group continues to hum along! They'll discuss up to Chapter 6 in Black Marxism ([link removed]) by Cedric J. Robinson on Saturday, October 29th, meeting at the parking lot at Larragoite Park ([link removed]) and the group will be held indoors for this week.

Dia De Los Muertos Celebration - October 29th, 10AM-2PM

This event by Chainbreaker ([link removed]) and Homewise ([link removed]) includes a bike giveaway, a costume contest, a tenant clinic and information about homeownership. The event will take place at Country Club Gardens located at 6151 Airport Road in Santa Fe. You can find more information about the event on their Facebook page here ([link removed]) .

Dia De Los Muertos Celebration - November 1st

Santa Fe Mutual Aid will be hosting an event for Dia De Los Muertos. Stay tuned for more information on their website ([link removed]) and Facebook pages ([link removed]) .


Community Swap - November 5th, 1PM-3PM

Santa Fe Mutual Aid is hosting its monthly Community Swap on the first Saturday of the month this coming November 5th. Please bring your unneeded items in to give to others and to take what will be of use to you.
