The National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) released its annual
state-by-state report that assesses students in the core subjects: math,
reading, science, and writing.



The overwhelming consensus? Wisconsin is failing an entire generation of
children under Tony Evers’ failed leadership.

NAEP results tell us:

✏️ Wisconsin has its lowest NAEP reading score EVER, with only nine other
states seeing larger declines in 8th-grade reading scores.

✏️ Wisconsin has the largest racial achievement gap in both reading and math
in the country.

✏️ Black kids in Milwaukee are LAST in the country in reading.

✏️ White kids in Wisconsin are now 30th in reading and 19th in math.

✏️ Milwaukee Public Schools is one of the lowest-performing school systems in
the country, with reading levels now two years behind L.A. and Chicago.
