The National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) released its annual state-by-state report that assesses students in the core subjects: math, reading, science, and writing. 

The overwhelming consensus? Wisconsin is failing an entire generation of children under Tony Evers’ failed leadership.

NAEP results tell us:

✏️ Wisconsin has its lowest NAEP reading score EVER, with only nine other states seeing larger declines in 8th-grade reading scores.

✏️ Wisconsin has the largest racial achievement gap in both reading and math in the country.

✏️ Black kids in Milwaukee are LAST in the country in reading.

✏️ White kids in Wisconsin are now 30th in reading and 19th in math.

✏️ Milwaukee Public Schools is one of the lowest-performing school systems in the country, with reading levels now two years behind L.A. and Chicago.

Tony Evers enlisted the help of the nation’s foremost enemy of education reform and parental rights: the American Federation of Teachers and their president, Randi Weingarten.

Weingarten led the charge to keep our schools closed and our kids unnecessarily masked when they returned to the classroom – all while pushing woke policies at the same time our children’s test scores plummeted. 

But what’s most concerning, Big Jack, is she agreed with labeling concerned parents as “domestic terrorists” simply for taking an interest in our children’s education.

Big Jack, it’s time for parents to be empowered, students to have options, and Wisconsin schools to improve, which will happen during Tim Michels’ first four years as governor.
