The United States is facing a maternal mortality crisis. We have the worst maternal mortality rate of any high-income country, and recent CDC data found that Black women are nearly three times more likely to die than white women during pregnancy, childbirth, or a year following childbirth.

We need your help to urge your Members of Congress to include critical maternal health equity investments in final year end legislation.

Ask them to sign on to a letter to House and Senate Leadership urging them to include the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act and permanent year-long postpartum Medicaid coverage for every state in the final appropriations bill this year.
