John, we have been presented with another such moment now.

President Trump and his Administration have disregarded our Constitution, and each and every one of us must decide how we will respond to this injustice.

Nancy continues to courageously stand up to Trump and hold him accountable -- and our entire Democratic Caucus has stood arm-in-arm with her. Our oaths call upon us to do so.

Decades have passed since I fought for desegregation during Freedom Summer; spoke at the March on Washington and heard Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. share his dream with the country; and marched in Selma for African Americans' right to vote. Decades have passed, but the work is not over.
