Hey, this is not a short email. It's about why I'm running for President, and what I plan to bring to that debate stage on Tuesday. I hope you'll take a moment to read it, then if you can, chip in $1:
Growing up, I never thought I'd run for President or speak to millions of people on national television.
I was raised by a single mom. We struggled just to get by.
The only reason I knew there was a Governor's house in my hometown was because I delivered newspapers to it.
Now as Governor, my wife and I are raising our three kids in that very same house.
I got my shot at the American Dream. But for a whole lot of Americans, that opportunity no longer exists -- and for far too many, it never has.
On Tuesday, I'm going to that debate stage to share my plan to give everyone a fair shot at a better life. Together, we're going to make government work for everyday people again.
It would mean the world to me to know I have your support on that debate stage. Can you chip in $1 (or anything you can) today?

For years, the rich and powerful have done better and better while the rest of us have paid the price. Washington has been so thoroughly corrupted by Big Money that it has been unable to tackle our biggest challenges.
So our work to take power back and make sure no one is forgotten starts by eliminating the toxic influence of Big Money in politics.
But here's the thing: barely anyone is talking about this. In the last debate, there were NO questions about money in politics. The candidates allowed on stage only talked about it for a total of 84 seconds -- over the course of 4 hours!
Now that I'm going to be on the debate stage on Tuesday, you better believe my plan to tackle Big Money once and for all will be front and center.
So this is why I'm asking you to donate today. This campaign is powered by grassroots donors like you -- not corporate PACs. That's why I need your help to on Tuesday and beyond.
Use the buttons below to make a donation today. A gift of $50, $25 or even just $1 will make a big difference for our campaign:
