This election cycle, Republicans are looking for ways to keep us down and take away our will to effect change. With MAGA Republicans actively dismantling our rights — with all the hateful and racist rhetoric out there — we are up to our eyeballs in unfriendliness. So I thought a little friendly competition might be just the way to lift spirits and focus our efforts on making a positive difference in our state, in our country, and in people’s lives.

Truth is, Mereda is much better at writing emails than I am. But I wanted to stir the pot and get a contest going to get us all activated and energized. Because, John — there are only 25 DAYS LEFT before Election Day, and we don’t have time for inaction.
