*What:?*The 2021 Legislature tasked OSPI with making recommendations to support recruiting and retaining a diverse educator workforce with competitive salaries reflective of current economic conditions. Superintendent Reykdal will describe his proposal to the Legislature to make critical adjustments to the state?s compensation structure for school employees, focusing resources on positions and in communities where they are needed most.
