Earlier this week, Colorado mistakenly sent postcards to 30,000 noncitizens encouraging them to register to vote, blaming the error on a database glitch related to the state’s list of residents with driver’s licenses. 🚨 🚨 🚨 We’ve been saying it from the beginning - the bad law passed by the Massachusetts legislature giving driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants will damage the integrity of state elections by automatically registering illegal immigrants to vote. And we can’t forget, when he vetoed the bill, Governor Baker credited his veto to exactly that, saying – “this bill significantly increases the risk that noncitizens will be registered to vote.” Just like Massachusetts, Colorado also automatically registers eligible voters when they obtain their driver’s license from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Colorado’s response to this illegal voter-fraud disaster?
