We’ve been saying it from the beginning - the bad law passed by the Massachusetts legislature giving driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants will damage the integrity of state elections by automatically registering illegal immigrants to vote.
And we can’t forget, when he vetoed the bill, Governor Baker credited his veto to exactly that, saying – “this bill significantly increases the risk that noncitizens will be registered to vote.”
Just like Massachusetts, Colorado also automatically registers eligible voters when they obtain their driver’s license from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Colorado’s response to this illegal voter-fraud disaster? Well, “Mistakes can happen.”
Nothing quells our fear of non-citizens registering to vote quite like “mistakes can happen!”
This is why we must fight back like never before. We must stop this bad law that:
- Damages the integrity of state elections by automatically registering illegal immigrants to vote.
- Rewards people who broke laws to be here.
- Provides incentives to bring more illegal immigrants to Massachusetts.
