10-year old Maite Yuleana Rodriguez who was tragically killed in Uvalde.
Ana wanted to share her story because she never wants another family to

There’s a big reason why so many family members from Uvalde recently
announced their support for Beto. Greg Abbott has done nothing to prevent
the next mass shooting at a time when gun violence is now the leading
cause of death for kids and teens in Texas.
There have been six major mass shootings on Abbott’s watch, and not one
law has been passed to stop this violence in the 19 weeks since Uvalde.
The inaction must end now.
Beto will be a governor who moves forward on the popular, bipartisan, and
commonsense steps that are needed to reduce gun violence — from passing
universal background checks and implementing red flag laws, to raising the
minimum age for purchasing an assault weapon from 18 to 21.
We must make sure that all Texans know what is at stake in this election,
and that we can elect a governor who will finally put our kids’ lives
above the NRA or any special interest.
