The driver was recruited through TikTok and authorities responded after a neighbor reported a truck dropping individuals off at a nearby residential home. This follows a June incident in which migrants were abandoned in the San Antonio heat while part of another human trafficking operation. 53 migrants died, making it one of the deadliest human trafficking incidents in U.S. history.
