Leora Levy Calls Out Weak Border Security After 84 Illegal Migrants Rescued in Latest Human Trafficking Incident

GREENWICH, CT - Late last week, Texas authorities rescued 84 illegal migrants from a tractor trailer in Weslaco, Texas. The driver was recruited through TikTok and authorities responded after a neighbor reported a truck dropping individuals off at a nearby residential home.

This follows a June incident in which migrants were abandoned in the San Antonio heat while part of another human trafficking operation. 53 migrants died, making it one of the deadliest human trafficking incidents in U.S. history

U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy issued a statement demanding the Biden-Harris Administration and their rubber stamp Dick Blumenthal secure the southern border to crack down on human trafficking and finally end the lethal flow of fentanyl, which has taken so many American lives.

“Human traffickers continue to exploit our weak border. Our open border is an obvious humanitarian and national security crisis, yet Joe Biden and Dick Blumenthal refuse to take any meaningful action, encouraging this continued invasion.

“Out-of-touch career politicians have failed us, and the only people who win with open borders are human traffickers and the cartels smuggling the poison of fentanyl into our country. As your Senator, I will lead the fight to stop this invasion and secure our border.”

About Leora

I am running to take on the far-left whose policies will make our country look more like the Communist Cuba my family and I escaped in 1960 than the United States we have all known and loved. I am running for Senate to lead the fight for freedom. Joe Biden isn't on the ballot in November, but his policies are. The way to beat back Biden is to beat Dick Blumenthal, and I am the political outsider who can get it done.
