Dear MoveOn member,

We don't have to tell you how much is at stake in the midterm elections in
35 days.

As MoveOn members, we have been rallying, fighting, and organizing for
months to stop a GOP that does not believe in democracy, a GOP that is
intent on stripping bodily autonomy away from women, trans and
gender-nonconforming people, and a GOP who uses marginalized people as a
cudgel to stoke hate and fear.

But here's the rub: None of us can win this election on our own. And
Republicans have erected many new barriers to voting with a wave of voter
suppression laws since the 2020 election, targeting marginalized
communities and young people. We must do everything in our power to help
those voters cast a ballot in order to stop the unhinged MAGA Republicans
in their tracks.

That is where Nail the Vote comes in, John!

Today, we are thrilled to announce our Nail the Vote 2022 campaign to
remind voters to cast a ballot this November with the help of pro-voting
nail art worn, promoted, and even designed by celebrities, artists, and
other influencers. This campaign is one of many of our efforts designed to
reach out to millennial and Gen Z voters who might not vote this year
without more-personalized and motivational appeals.

To do this, we are working with celebrities, including Alicia Keys,
Natasha Rothwell, Jaime King, and Elizabeth Gillies, to show off their
nail wraps on social media and use these posts as opportunities to remind
their followers to register to vote—and to encourage their family and
friends to do the same.

custom nail wraps from MoveOn or giving them as a gift to a loved one, to
help remind millennial and Gen Z voters about the importance of casting a
ballot! Click here to order your limited-edition nail wraps now, while
supplies last.

With equal parts style and substance, Nail the Vote is meant to catalyze
an important message about voting to help encourage a younger demographic
to come to the polls this year. By leading with art- and culture-makers,
MoveOn is looking to engage people who might not respond to a typical
political post.

We ran a similar Nail the Vote campaign in the run-up to the 2020 election
to great success, and our hope is to make an even bigger splash this year
by encouraging hundreds of thousands of young people, people of color, and
folks who have not been closely paying attention to the midterm elections
to get out and vote.

[ [link removed] ]Now, for the first time, everyone can join in the Nail the Vote
campaign. Get your own set of custom MoveOn nail wraps here—or order a
pair for a friend!

Let's Nail the Vote on November 8!

Thanks for all you do.

–Mona, Kelly, Elizabeth, Seth, and the rest of the team

Want to support MoveOn's work? Donald Trump's preparations for being able
to steal the presidency in 2024 are well underway and include working to
replace top election officials in battleground states with his own
loyalists. Which is why MoveOn is doing something we've never done in our
23-year history: We're launching a powerful, multimillion-dollar effort to
defeat Trump-backed secretaries of state across the country and elect
individuals who will count every vote and ensure fair elections.

Will you chip in to power our campaign to defeat Trump and protect our
elections in 2022?
