Hey, it’s us, poking our little heads out from under the massive pile of annoying end-of-quarter fundraising emails you have probably already received this week.
And yes, this is an end-of-quarter fundraising email, but we’ll do our best to not make it annoying. This deadline isn’t made up: Decisions are being made right now about staffing, advertising, events, and much more in these final 6 weeks. It takes time for campaigns to make these decisions and then efficiently spend money, so now is a good time to donate, if that’s part of how you’re able to contribute in 2022.
To make it as easy and effective as possible, we’ve set up a series of funds so that your money goes as far as possible towards your values. Whether you’re looking to elect state legislative candidates or House members, our funds go directly to the candidates and organizations in the battlegrounds where your contribution will make a real difference in a potential path to victory.
To make it even easier, here’s each fund, where they money goes, and one good reason to contribute:

Pro-democracy Attornies General and Secretaries of State
Insurrectionist Mark Finchem has raised twice as much as his opponent, Adrian Fontes. If he becomes Secretary of State, Finchem has essentially already promised he would not certify an election that a Democrat wins. A recent poll has Finchem up.

State legislative candidates in swing districts in key states
State legislatures currently make abortion laws. Republicans are getting to do that in most states because they’ve spent way more money on state legislative campaigns over the last decade.

The two Senate candidates most likely to flip seats
If we hold the House and win two more seats in the Senate, we can codify abortion access nationwide and advance other progressive priorities with a real majority willing to reform the filibuster

The top 15 House candidates
If Republicans win, they will immediately impeach and investigate any Democrat they don’t like. Plus, the above.

Organizations fighting voter suppression in marginalized communities in swing states
Voting laws have changed in most states, and many voters will need help navigating new, often more stringent rules to cast their ballot.

If you made it this far in the email and haven’t made a donation, we’re going to assume it’s not a financial reality for you right now. And that’s ok! If you have time, one equally important way to contribute is by volunteering. [Consider signing up for a shift talking to voters this weekend!]([link removed])
Thank you for investing in our democracy.
