Ensuring our veterans have access to high-quality healthcare is not a partisan issue and we will not stop fighting until President Biden says the plan to close our VA hospitals is dead on arrival. I joined House Republican leadership to highlight how soft-on-crime policies have impacted New York City and how legislation I've introduced, along with reversing New York's bail law, is part of the solution. WATCH IN THE DISTRICT Over the last several weeks, six Bay Ridge businesses have been broken into, with the burglars running off with $28,000 in stolen cash. I joined local business owners to demand that our state leadership reverses New York's disastrous bail law and takes the issue of crime and public safety seriously. READ MORE I joined my local colleagues in urging Governor Hochul to withdraw her support of the MTA's congestion tax that will cost drivers more than $5,000 per year to commute to work, go to school or get medical treatment. I proudly voted against this scheme as a state legislator, and now as a Member of Congress, we're making bipartisan efforts to slow or stop this from the federal level.
