Dear Friend,
Let's be honest: 2019 has been a hard year. From the dehumanizing treatment of migrants at our borders, to the current administration's utter disregard of our Earth's fragile state, we have been constantly bombarded with disheartening headlines and unjust policies. It has been hard to feel like justice can be found, and looking back on the year, I feel both exhausted and amazed that we've gotten through it.
In a recent phone call with a member of our Sustainers Circle of monthly donors, I was reminded of the secret to carrying on in dark times: "We've got to stick together." When our country is so divided, sticking together is an act of spiritual resistance.
We're grateful that you've chosen to be a part of the Sojourners community this year
As we look towards 2020, there's more work to do. And we want you to be a part of it. Are you ready to step more deeply into the sacred resistance of community and give a year-end gift today? Give now: [link removed]

Our donors are committed to pursuing the biblical call to social justice. They are a part of a national network of faith-based activists, writers, church-goers, and people who just want to know more about what Jesus had to say. As a vital part of the Sojourners community, donors have access to stories, toolkits, and exclusive Sojourners updates to equip them to change the world.
They don't just talk the talk, they actively answer God's call for justice. And they do it in community.

Here's what our Sojourners community members have to say about why they stick with us:
"Sojourners speaks for me and my faith experience in the corridors of power, and I give monthly to make sure our voices are heard."
- Jana, donor since 2011
"I joined Sojourners as the one place I felt confident would keep everything Christ-centered in the journey for justice."
- Karen, donor since 2014
To make tangible progress in the march towards justice, we've got to stick together. To bring Jesus' teachings of serving the most vulnerable to the mainstream, we've got to stick together. To enter 2020 with hope for a better future, we've got to stick
together.
Thanks to the wisdom and faithful support of our donor community, even I am encouraged to continue the good work God calls us to, and to do it together. Join us, as, in community, we continue to speak out, take action, and be a refuge of hope in dark times: [link removed]
