Let’s be honest: 2019 has been a tough year. From the dehumanizing treatment of migrants at our borders, to the current administration’s utter disregard of our Earth’s fragile state, we have been constantly bombarded with disheartening headlines and unjust policies. It has been hard to feel like justice can be found, and looking back on the year, I feel both exhausted and amazed that we’ve gotten through it.

In a recent phone call with a member of our Sustainers Circle of monthly donors, I was reminded of the secret to carrying on in dark times: “We’ve got to stick together.” When our country is so divided, sticking together is an act of spiritual resistance.

We’re grateful that you’ve chosen to be a part of the Sojourners community this year. As we look towards 2020, there’s more work to do. And we want you to be a part of it. Are you ready to step more deeply into the sacred resistance of community and give a year-end gift today?

Our donors are committed to pursuing the biblical call to social justice. They are a part of a national network of faith-based activists, writers, church-goers, and people who just want to know more about what Jesus had to say.
