We're proud that Washington has led the way in creating evidence-based interventions to help reduce firearm suicide. On September 17th, we were invited to host a panel discussing the intersection between gun violence and mental health at the NAMI Washington Conference in Olympia. SAFE STORAGE SAVES LIVES
Reps. Jayapal (WA-07) and Curtis (UT-03) introduced a bill to help reduce gun suicides by allowing people to voluntarily and proactively place themselves onto a “do not sell” list. This innovative policy was first adopted in Washington, and it's time for the other Washington to follow suit. Take action: [link removed]
