Folks, I recently visited Lilith Clinic, an independent abortion clinic in Portland, and I wanted to share a few thoughts. I hope you’ll take a moment to read this, but if you’re ready to stand up for abortion access with me, can you chip into my campaign?

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June, Republicans have signaled that if they flip control of Congress, they will try to enact a nationwide ban on abortion, including in cases of rape or incest. That could affect clinics like Lilith here in Portland, which is a necessary safe haven for women who sometimes have to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to receive an abortion.

Folks, I am an unapologetic defender of reproductive rights, and I believe that abortion and reproductive health care should be accessible to everyone.
