As I prepare for next week's 1/6 Committee hearing, I want to take some time this week to look ahead with you toward the future and the big picture.



The threats our democracy faces are bigger than Donald Trump, and they didn't originate with him, either. While accountability is incredibly important, it would be naive to think its a cure-all.? We have to address the systemic issues that are driving division, keeping Republicans and Democrats from working together, and preventing problems from being solved.
