*Secretary Scott to Hold Press Conference on 2022 'VoteReady' Voter Education Campaign*





AUSTIN ? Tomorrow, on National Voter Registration Day, Texas Secretary of State John Scott will hold a press conference to share details on the statewide voter education campaign ahead of the November 2022 General Election.

?VoteReady? is a?statewide campaign [ [link removed] ]?to educate voters about the?7 approved forms of photo ID that can be used to vote [ [link removed] ]?and what to do if a voter does not possess and cannot reasonably obtain one of those 7 IDs. The campaign also aims to educate voters who are eligible to vote by mail about the?ID requirements for casting a mail-in ballot [ [link removed] ]. The statewide ?VoteReady? campaign includes a grassroots outreach tour, paid advertising and social media.

The?grassroots interactive elements of the voter education campaign [ [link removed] ]?will be on display at the news conference, including the mobile digital truck that is?currently touring across the State of Texas [ [link removed] ]. The campaign?s brand ambassadors and Secretary Scott will also be on-site to speak with members of the public and press about the campaign.
