Hello Colorado Republicans -

We are working hard to get our candidates' message out to voters, as ballots will be mailed in one month. One thing we are relying on you to help with is checking up on your Republican friends and making sure they plan to cast their ballot this year. As you know, many voters skip midterm elections, but we have to make sure that doesn't happen in 2022. We need every Republican and every Unaffiliated voter who's with us to cast their ballot and vote the entire Republican ticket. Please help us by checking in with your Republican friends and making sure they have a plan to vote!

A few new things this week:
1) Heidi Ganahl hosted a press conference where she unveiled her transportation plan for Colorado, to finally fix our roads! You can read details here: www.heidiforgov.com/transportation.

2) Jared Polis asked for the legislature to reverse a law he signed in 2021 because his pro-criminal policies on auto theft are making Colorado more dangerous. Of course, the policy he's now advocating for is a Republican policy that John Kellner and others have pushed for some time. You can read more HERE. ([link removed])

3) Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is exposing the truth about her liberal opponent at www.AspenAdam.com ([link removed]) . Be sure to take a look!

4) Pam Anderson announced her plan to start a Citizens Election Academy once she becomes our next Secretary of State. ([link removed])

Thanks for all you're doing, and I hope to see you when I'm out walking and knocking doors for our candidates!

Candidate of the Week: Carol Riggenbach

I'm a 4th generation native to the San Luis Valley and have never left. I graduated from Sangre de Cristo High School and Adams State University in Business Administration. I am a licensed nursing home and assisted living and home health administrator. I’ve been working in corporate America’s long term care industry for nearly 30 years. I’m a blue collar working American business woman. I have started my own businesses and built and renovated buildings working with land developers and contractors. I am a mom and have raised my children on a shoestring and helped them get through college. My son was in the Air Force, my Dad in the Army and my stepdad was a Vietnam Veteran. I am a farmer and have experience fighting for water. This is not time to hire a rookie in regards to water. SLV water is too precious. It will be well protected under my watch.

Before I decided to run for this office, I asked a lot of people’s advice. One of those was Donald Valdez. He said, ”Carol, you should run… just know why you're running”. That’s easy! I know exactly why I’m running. I’ve had enough and I want to help at a whole other level. I’ve been watching what’s been happening at the state level. I can’t understand it.

I can check the boxes. My resume is full of experience from the barn to the boardroom which can serve us in house district 62.

God has blessed me with the experience needed to legislate in Denver. I can sit on the health committees, agriculture committees, business and finance committees, budget committees with skills to ask knowledgeable questions and not be snowed by the bull.

** Anderson announces plan for Citizen Election Academy
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
Fort Morgan Times: ([link removed]) A proposal for a hands-on program to increase confidence among voters of all affiliations has been announced by Republican Secretary of State candidate Pam Anderson.

She has proposed creation of a Citizen Election Academy in which voters would receive greater education on the elections process, and the possibility to become more engaged in elections.

Anderson is a former Jefferson County clerk. She will face Democrat Secretary of State Jena Griswold in the Nov. 8 general election.

In a previous interview with The Fort Morgan Times, Anderson compared the idea of a Citizen Election Academy to a Citizen’s Police Academy, in which those being served have a chance to gain more knowledge of policing, whether or not they ever become a police officer. Anderson has pledged to launch the academy should she be elected as secretary of state.
...
“We need to rebuild voter confidence in our state and our country, and it begins by shining a bright light on the process and safeguards already built into our system,” Anderson said.

While she has contended elections are fair in Colorado, Anderson has acknowledged there are those who continue to have concern.

“Citizens of good conscience have questions about our system once they drop their ballot off in a ballot box or in their mailbox,” she said. “Your friends, neighbors and community leaders from all political persuasions can engage to serve as ambassadors who understand our elections process to inform their communities and push back on disinformation or confusion.”

The concept has drawn broad support, Anderson said.
