President Biden is being very direct in addressing the threat that is
facing our cherished democracy.

He has really stepped to the plate to speak truth and face down our
greatest challenge: the antidemocratic sickness that has infected the GOP.
This MAGA infection is spreading fast. It consumes the old-school
Republicans that it doesn’t knock out of office.

We need to name the disease if we are going to treat it, and that’s
exactly what our president has been doing.

President Biden pulled minced no words when speaking at Philadelphia's
Independence Hall:

“And here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect
the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not
recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a
free election, and they’re working right now as I speak in state after
state to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and
cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.”

The truth of President Biden’s unflinching words has MAGA Republicans
fuming.

MAGA Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy is now calling on President
Biden to apologize for calling Trump’s loyalists semi-fascist. McCarthy is
the one that needs to apologize. McCarthy’s failure to acknowledge the Jan
6 insurrection for the treason it was makes it more likely that a similar
event will occur in the future.

We need to fight for President Biden as he fights for us if we are going
to defend our democracy from the twisted ideology that has taken root in
the Republican party.

One way to join the fight for our democracy is to support No Dem Left
Behind. We are committed to expanding our Democratic majorities by
reaching out directly to middle America to show people what it really
means to be a Democrat.

We can’t settle for just keeping our majorities. We must increase our
majorities to defend our democracy!
