A business’s main goal is to act in the best interests of its investors, right? It’s the driving force behind our American free market.
But that might not be true for many businesses today, writes Kenin M. Spivak in The American Mind ([link removed]) . Instead, huge progressive funds are compelling corporations to bow to the wishes of a far-left agenda.
These funds are forcing businesses to implement policies that aim at achieving “diversity” through racial preferences in hiring…
…eliminating carbon use at all costs…
…and many other progressive talking points.
These policies aren’t the shareholders’ ideas ([link removed]) ; they’re the ideas of a progressive elite.

A quick glance at the average Twitter feed or the front pages of most mainstream media sites will find plentiful accusations of “fascism.” It’s a term that’s sure to get many heads to nod along in agreement and make your political enemies look bad.
But wait a minute. What does “fascism” even mean?
John Wilson, writing in First Things ([link removed]) , recommends an upcoming book addressing this very question. Fascism Comes to America: A Century of Obsession in Politics and Culture, by Bruce Kuklick, certainly has a unique take on the issue:
“Unable to associate fascism with any stable observables over one hundred years, I am unconvinced that they exist ([link removed]) ,” Kuklick says.
