Can you imagine wanting to pray, but not being allowed?

It’s not only wrong -- it’s illegal. But it’s an injustice that incarcerated people across this country face. By law, people in prison retain important religious protections. Faith provides community and a support network to help incarcerated people reintegrate into society. So, when our client was denied his right to pray with other Muslims at a federal prison in Kentucky, Muslim Advocates took on his case.

The result? A change to prison policies that reverberates across the nation.

In response to our lawsuit, the federal Bureau of Prisons changed its group prayer guidance for all federal prisons.

That’s a big deal -- now, they must enforce this new rule .
