Prisons across the country are ignoring peoples' right to pray.

Everyone deserves the right to pray.

We just got prison policies changed.
Now we need your help to make sure they're enforced.

Dear Friend,

Can you imagine wanting to pray, but not being allowed?

It’s not only wrong — it’s illegal. But it’s an injustice that incarcerated people across this country face. By law, people in prison retain important religious protections. Faith provides community and a support network to help incarcerated people reintegrate into society. So, when our client was denied his right to pray with other Muslims at a federal prison in Kentucky, Muslim Advocates took on his case.

The result? A change to prison policies that reverberates across the nation.

We need your help to make sure this never happens again. In response to our lawsuit, the federal Bureau of Prisons changed its group prayer guidance for all federal prisons.

That’s a big deal — now, they must enforce this new rule.

Unfortunately, we know that many of the 142 federal prisons are ignoring these prisoners' rights to religious freedom. It’s insulting. But with your support, we can change it.

Every American is promised the right to practice their faith. Let’s ensure our country lives up to its promise and all 142 federal prisons follow this important new guidance.

Sincerely,

Scott Simpson
