Dear WEALF Family,
We hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. According to the US Department of Labor, the annual holiday is a celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. It is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.
We have come a long way from the 19th century and at WEALF we recognize every day the vision, strength, and achievements of women entrepreneurs and their contribution to our communities. Thanks to your support of our mission we have helped over 70 women entrepreneurs realize their dream of self-sufficiency and the profound satisfaction of building a thriving business.
As we head into the fall from our very productive summer, we will have some exciting news to share soon on our One Million in Loans – One Million in Entrepreneurial Dreams campaign. Stay tuned for more details and learn how you can help a woman’s entreprenuerial dreams come true.

Visit our table at the Small Biz Street Fair!
Join us this Saturday, September 10, at the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce's Shop Small Biz Street Fair. WEALF will have a nonprofit table located on Third Avenue between 80th and 81st street from 10am to 6pm. At this free event, meet some of our WEALF entrepreneurs, see their products and learn about their services. Also on hand will be WEALF advisors and other representatives sharing the passion behind the mission of WEALF.
