We hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. According to the US Department of Labor, the annual holiday is a celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. It is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.
We have come a long way from the 19th century and at WEALF we recognize every day the vision, strength, and achievements of women entrepreneurs and their contribution to our communities. Thanks to your support of our mission we have helped over 70 women entrepreneurs realize their dream of self-sufficiency and the profound satisfaction of building a thriving business.
