ESG Hurts: The Left Imposes a Woke Agenda on Businesses
What: It goes by the innocent euphemism of “environmental, social, and governance,” but the ESG movement is an attempt by the left to force companies to advance a radical leftist agenda.

- Major investment companies use ESG to direct capital to companies that adhere to woke social and economic policies.
- Andy Puzder <[link removed]>, former CKE Restaurants CEO and visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation, calls ESG “a direct assault on the heart and soul of our free-market economy.”

Fighting back: With the “ESG Hurts” campaign, Heritage and Heritage Action for America are arming the public with information on the dangers of ESG and arming state legislators with model legislation that will protect state pensions, investments, and contracts from ESG.

- It’s bad economic policy that will fuel inflation. (“5 Reasons Biden’s Student Loan Scheme Is Terrible, Corrupt Idea <[link removed]>”)
- It creates a host of moral hazard problems. (“7 Reasons Why President Biden’s Student-Loan Debt Transfer Is Bad for America <[link removed]>”)
