ESG Hurts: The Left Imposes a Woke Agenda on Businesses
GettyImages-1242441138.jpg

What: It goes by the innocent euphemism of “environmental, social, and governance,” but the ESG movement is an attempt by the left to force companies to advance a radical leftist agenda.

  • Major investment companies use ESG to direct capital to companies that adhere to woke social and economic policies.
  • Andy Puzder, former CKE Restaurants CEO and visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation, calls ESG “a direct assault on the heart and soul of our free-market economy.”

Fighting back: With the “ESG Hurts” campaign, Heritage and Heritage Action for America are arming the public with information on the dangers of ESG and arming state legislators with model legislation that will protect state pensions, investments, and contracts from ESG.
